Join Ironwood Church for an exciting day of outdoor adventure and family bonding at our annual Family Fishing Derby. The event is completely free for Ironwood Church members and their families. We welcome community members to join us as well, with a small donation suggested to help cover event costs. Pre-registration is recommended to help us plan accordingly and ensure we have enough resources for all participants.
Our Family Fishing Derby is designed for all ages! Children must be accompanied by an adult, and we have special areas and support for young anglers. We'll have different categories to ensure fair competition and fun for everyone from beginners to experienced fishers.

We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, comfortable clothing, and a water bottle. If you have your own fishing gear, feel free to bring it along. We'll also have refreshments available and plenty of shade for participants to rest and enjoy the day.
If you don't have your own fishing gear, don't worry! We'll have some equipment available to borrow, and local sporting goods stores near the event site offer affordable rental options. Basic equipment includes a fishing rod, line, and some simple tackle which our volunteers can help you set up.
